My career into teaching clinical pilates began just over 20 years ago. I had initially graduated in Psychology and then went to work in London for a production company, but my strengths and desire to work with people in a clinical and caring profession soon led me to return to education to study Physiotherapy BSCHons at UCL.
I loved the course and qualified with first class honours in 1997. I then worked in both the Oxford and Warwick NHS Foundation Trusts before starting a family.
When my children were young I once again went back into education and completed my Clinical Matwork Pilates training with Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) in 2005.
Since then I have specialised in teaching Pilates and love the movement and postural awareness that Pilates brings to your everyday life.
With regular practise Pilates will:
- positively change the body
- reduce pain
- improve physical function, movement and wellbeing
Give me a call and I can discuss any questions you might have, I’d love you to join my classes and feel the benefits of Clinical Pilates!
